Remainder of the Dive Season:

Monday: Regular practice for all divers

Tuesday: Regular practice for all divers, dive meet at PV

Wednesday - Friday: Practice for all city divers only, from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The list of all city divers will be posted here Tuesday.

 

Saturday- All city swim meet.

7am-8am: Warmups for 18, 15, and 13 & under

8am: Meet starts for 18, 15, and 13 & under

11:30am:

Awards presented to 18, 15, and 13 & under

warmups for 7, 9, and 11 & under. These divers need to be at the pool by 11:00am.

12:15pm (approximately) Meet begins for 7, 9, and 11 & unders

The awards for the 7, 9, and 11 & unders will be held at the conclusion of the 7 & under competition

In addition, we need at least two table workers to help for the entire meet. If you are able to work the tables anytime durring the day, please let me know!

Team goals emphasize fun, teamwork, community involvement, responsibility, exercise, skill development and skill improvement. We are a family-oriented team and parents are encouraged to volunteer to assist with meets, parties and other duties. 

Wednesday, June 2: First day of SWIM practice and registration for those not pre-registered.

Thursday, June 3: First day of DIVE practice.

Practice Times:

Swim Team

Age 11 and under            7:30-8:30 AM        (Monday-Thursday)

Age 12 & 13                   choice of practice(With Coach Approval) (Monday-Thursday)

Age 14-18                       8:30-10:00 AM      (Monday-Thursday)

Pre-competitive               8:30-9:30 AM        (Monday-Thursday)

ALL SWIMMERS 9:00-10:00 AM  (Friday)

ALL DIVERS       10:00-11:00 AM  (Friday)

Friday Practice for competitive members will be from 9:00 to 10:00 and is optional. It for members who want to work on a specific stroke, or on a specific area. It is not fun day.

All swimmers must attend the correct practice times. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

 

 

Dive Team (Monday through thursday)

12& Under                              8:30-9:30 AM

12& Over                                10:00-11:00AM

Pre-competitive                        9:30-10:00AM

 

On Friday, practice is from 10-11 AM for all divers

 

Practices are held Monday-Friday mornings and meets are held weekly throughout June and July at various municipal pools. Pre-competitive and competitive level swimmers are welcome.  Swimmers must be able to swim at least 25 meters.  Merriam residency is not required to participate. 

 

Fees:

Resident individual      $60 each

Resident family 3+      $120

Non-res. Individual      $75

Non-res. Family 3+     $150

*Fees include practices, meets, T-shirts, end-of-season picnic, ribbons, & awards.
